A Victorian pleasure cruise between Cambridge & Thetford

In July 2013, young people and helpers from North Lynn Discovery Centre and staff from Thetford Ancient House Museum created a comical but historically accurate film representing the journey taken by some wealthy fenlanders between Cambridge and Thetford via paddle steamer.

The film shows a well to do family on a day out aboard the boat, but the journey doesn't exactly go to plan. The film is part of the Living on Land & Water exhibition.
